Jihlava District: Hotels and Accommodation

In the Jihlava District, the PodpoVRCH Environmental Centre at Jihlava Zoo offers educational programmes on animals, nature and ecology. The “Historical Underground” tour in Jihlavské podzemí lasts 30 to 40 minutes and begins at the underground ticket office at Hluboká 1 in Jihlava. The guided tours are not wheelchair accessible.

The Muzeum Vysočiny Jihlava includes the permanent exhibition “Jihlava - město střední Evropy”, which covers the period from the Renaissance to the Industrial Revolution. The museum's first floor is step-free accessible.

In summer, Vodní Ráj has outdoor pools and children's paddling pools with an 85-metre-long slide, a water castle, a wild water river and aquazorbing. “Městem s ježkem - modrá” is a 10-kilometre circular cycling route suitable for children. The route follows the Jihlava River to the Český mlýn Sports and Leisure Centre.
