Horses and trails

Next to Ranč Ztracená podkova there is a publicly accessible children's playground. In 2022, a new trail park for horses, dogs, and children was established at the ranch.

The Naučná stezka o koních educational trail provides information about horses and horse breeding. Along the educational trail, a special footpath leads through the treetops over the Ždírecký potok stream. Horseback rides are available in the riding hall by prior arrangement.

Glass

The small Sklárna František Novák glassworks is located directly in the glassmaker's house. It specializes in producing replicas of historical glass, mostly greenish forest glass. During a visit, guests can watch the glass master at work.

History

At the Budínka locality, a massacre is said to have occurred in a meadow to the left of a field path from Dobronín to the forest in the direction of Nové Dvory. A wooden cross was erected at the site after 1989. A mass grave from the post-war period was discovered in the Budínka meadow in the cadastral area of Dobronín.
