Kozlovice: Hotels and Accommodations
Accommodation in Kozlovice
In a winter context, Kozlovice is not primarily associated with specific slopes, lifts, snow reliability, ability levels, or a designated ski area. Instead, the character of the town is shaped by Wallachian history, historic mills, a school museum, sacred buildings, and trails in the surrounding area.

Culture and History
In the 16th and 17th centuries, the Areál Fojtství was the seat of the Wallachian voivodes of the Hukvaldy estate, who were responsible for administering the sheep pastures in the remote mountains. The reconstructed Areál Fojtství features several independent permanent exhibitions and offers the possibility of a guided tour.
The Obecná škola Museum features an exhibition of a traditional kitchen with a brick stove, bread oven, household vessels, and historic baking utensils. The museum also offers an authentically furnished classroom where visitors can sit on historic wooden benches and write with a slate pencil on slate boards.
Sacred Buildings
The Church of Saint Michael the Archangel in Kozlovice was built between 1731 and 1742 next to an older church made largely of wood, which was probably built around 1300.
The Church of St. Michael and St. Barbara is a national cultural monument. The elongated single-nave building has a polygonal-ended presbytery and a prismatic tower.
Mills and Landscape
The Areál Na Mlýně is located on the right bank of the Ondřejnice near the lower end of Kozlovice. There, the stream cuts into the Palkovické Hůrky and forms a natural gorge several kilometres long. The complex includes a reconstructed mill with a 250-metre-long millrace and a fully functioning water wheel. Šmiřákův mlýn, now part of the Areál Na Mlýně, is considered one of the four oldest mills in Kozlovice and was already recorded in the first surviving manorial land register from 1581.
Opposite the Areál Na Mlýně, the Stations of the Cross on the slope of Skalka Hill comprise 14 stations. They are painted according to original models of folk oil paintings from around the turn of the 18th and 19th centuries.
