Plasnice is located directly on the border of the Orlické hory Protected Landscape Area. At the same time, the village lies on the main access road to Deštné v Orlických horách.
Nature
Špičák rises between Deštné v Orlických horách and Plasnice. The unforested summit of Špičák above the quarry edge offers a beautiful view. Sedloňovský vrch and Orlica are mountains in the vicinity of Plasnice. Malá Deštná and Velká Deštná are mountains in the surrounding area.
Trails
The Plasnice bus stop is located on the main road between Deštné v Orlických horách and Olešnice v Orlických horách and also serves as a landmark at the beginning of a green-marked hiking trail. On the outskirts of Plasnice, along a yellow-marked hiking trail toward Sedloňov, there is a fragment of a cross with a relief of Saint Anne on a pedestal. The yellow-marked trail continues to the nearby hamlet of Kout.
Marked cycling routes also pass through the village: Cycling Route 22 connects Mladkov with Dolní Adršpach along a 107.5-kilometre route. Cycling Route 4243 connects Skuhrov nad Bělou, Šediviny, and Plasnice along a total distance of 14 kilometres.
Culture
The Chapel of the Holy Family in Plasnice was built in 1873 on the initiative of local residents. In the wider regional surroundings of Plasnice are the castles Gorzanów - Pałac, Żelazno - Zamek, Szczerba - Ruiny zanku, and Ścinawka Górna - Renesansowy dwór.
