Above the Betlém district lies Jahodová hora, the highest point in Javornice at 505 metres. It can be reached via a preserved section of the old Imperial Road; from Jahodová hora, there is a view of the Orlické Mountains.

Culture

The Church of St George is a single-nave building with a rectangular floor plan and a projecting square tower on the west façade. Attached to the church is an extension containing a sculptural group depicting Christ on the Mount of Olives. The Church of St George complex in Javornice is an immovable cultural monument.

The Memorial to Marie and Vojtěch Sedláček contains a permanent exhibition of paintings by Vojtěch Sedláček, as well as an exhibition section dedicated to Marie Sedláčková-Serbousková’s lace art. A guided tour of the memorial also includes the painter’s studio and the apartment shared by both artists.

The Memorial Room for Josef Korejz Blatinský displays works depicting villagers in traditional costumes from various parts of Bohemia, Moravia and Slovakia, as well as landscapes, houses and customs.

Sport and Leisure

The sports and recreation complex in Javornice includes a playground for children aged three to fourteen. It also has a 110-metre straight athletics track with four lanes and a tartan surface, a long-jump facility and a shot-put sector.
