The Green Market takes place every Thursday from 06:30 to 13:00 on the Market Square, which is protected as an ensemble. The Original Miesbach traditional costume is a special cultural asset that people in Miesbach are proud of. Hiking routes in the wider Miesbach destination

The routes listed differ in length, duration and difficulty. The easy circular hike Through the “Untere Wies” is family-friendly, eight kilometres long and takes about two hours and 15 minutes. The family-friendly Miesbacher Stadlberg Loop is also listed as being of moderate difficulty: it starts at Habererplatz, right next to the town square, is 8.1 kilometres long and takes two hours and 30 minutes. The easy circular hike to the former Wallenburg Castle is shorter. Starting at Miesbach railway station, it covers 4.7 kilometres, takes one hour and 15 minutes, and offers an opportunity to stop for refreshments. The easy “By Train to the Mountains” route leads from Miesbach railway station via Agatharied to Schliersee. It is listed as 8.6 kilometres long, with an approximate duration of two hours; there is also an opportunity to stop for refreshments. Unlike the circular hikes, this route explicitly passes through several named places.
