Nature and Landscape

In the upper part of the municipality, on the road to the Selanka mountain lodge, lies the Chladné studánky area. There is a well-maintained spring there that does not freeze even in winter, as well as a wooden pavilion with benches for resting. A small pond near the spring is a breeding site for wild ducks.

In the vicinity, outside marked hiking trails, access is legally prohibited in the Pulčín–Hradisko Nature Reserve. A seasonally marked trail leads to the winter icefalls and is open from January 1 to March 30. In the vicinity of Pulčín and the Hradisko slope, layered sandstone forms individual rocks, rock walls, and entire rock cities; on the northwestern slope of Hradisko there are two pseudokarst caves.
