Novy Hrozenkov: Hotels and Accommodation

The Nový Hrozenkov–Vranča ski area is situated at an altitude of 500 to 670 metres and offers eight ski slopes with a total length of 5.8 kilometres.

Water

At the centre of the Na Stanoch natural swimming area is an artificial lake covering 9.5 hectares, locally also known as Balaton or Kačák. The Na Stanoch complex offers grassy and sandy beaches, changing rooms, showers, toilets, a children's playground and a beach volleyball court. It also features an artificial ramp for acrobatic water jumps on skis and boards.

Routes and Mountains

The brochures “From Hrozenkov to Hrozenkov” offer seven circular routes of varying length and difficulty for walkers, cyclists and families with children. The Rokling route collection comprises 20 gorge or streambed routes in the surrounding area, four of them directly in Nový Hrozenkov.

The mountains of Babínek, Kladnatá and Kaní are located in the vicinity of Nový Hrozenkov. Ceranská Kyčera is located in the surrounding area of Nový Hrozenkov.

Culture

The Antonín Strnadel Memorial is housed in a characteristic 1835 log cabin from Valašsko. The exhibition showcases mountain pastures where sheep were kept for generations, as well as original, in some cases unique, and now almost forgotten equipment used in alpine farming.

At the Nový Hrozenkov Information Centre, you can book guided tours of traditional sheep cheese production.
