Culture

In the center of Sulkovec stands the Church of St. Gall on a slight rise. It has a longitudinal single-nave hall with a three-sided chancel and an attached quadrangular sacristy. The parish church was built in the Baroque style in 1735–1736 by Baron Jan Theodor von Imbsen on the foundations of a chapel dating from 1645.

History

The Sulkovec parish house was built in 1766 by Maria Antonia von Imbsen, the daughter of Jan Theodor von Imbsen. Until 1900, Sulkovec had 42 house numbers, which formed the oldest part of the municipality. House No. 11 burned down in 1953, and Houses Nos. 32 and 38 were demolished; all the remaining houses are still in use today.

The estate in Sulkovec, House No. 34, is designated as an immovable cultural monument.
