Lhotka is located in the Žďárské vrchy landscape. Approximately 1.5 km southeast of Lhotka lies Díly u Lhotky, a nature monument first designated on 25 July 1985. The nature monument comprises peat meadows with endangered plant and animal species; at the same time, the protected area preserves significant meadow communities and meandering waterways with protected plant and animal species.

History and Culture

Lhotka was founded in 1407 through the colonisation activities of Žďár Cistercian Monastery. Historically, the inhabitants worked as charcoal burners and produced charcoal in kilns. Lhotka was historically an important economic centre and had a widely known mill.

Routes and Sport

The “Žďárské vrchy – 49 km” mountain biking route leads through the forest to Lhotka, where it connects to the EV4 EuroVelo route. The Cyril and Methodius Trail ascends through Lhotka to Harusův kopec.

The Radňovický Circuit is connected to routes towards Lhotka and to the cross-country skiing trails in the surroundings of Žďár nad Sázavou. The Sportovní hřiště in Lhotka can be used by visitors from outside the area for a fee for tennis, nohejbal, football and volleyball.
