History
Aueršperk Castle was founded in the last third of the 13th century and fell into decline in the second half of the 14th century. The Aueršperk castle ruins are freely accessible via a terrace path from the valley floor and directly from the south.
Cycling routes
Dvořiště is the tenth listed place on the “From Bystřice nad Pernštejnem to the Vír Reservoir” cycling route. The associated cycle tour is 40 kilometres long and runs along forest paths and paved roads. From Lesoňovice, the route reaches Dvořiště by crossing the Bystřice stream and then leads back to Bystřice nad Pernštejnem. It is marked in red and is suitable for mountain bikes and trekking bikes.
The 37-kilometre “In Search of the History of the Bystřicko Region” cycling route passes through Dvořiště in its final section. It leads to historical, architectural and technical monuments as well as other sights in the Bystřicko region; a GPX track is available for download for this route. The 45-kilometre “Scenic Viewpoints in the Bystřicko Region” cycle tour also passes through Dvořiště on its return journey to Bystřice nad Pernštejnem.
The “Bike Sraz na Vysočině” is a non-competitive weekend gathering featuring mountain bike rides and time spent socialising together.
