Trmice: Hotels and Accommodation

Trmice combines important religious buildings with a distinctive castle complex and cultural attractions. The Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary is one of the most important religious monuments in Trmice. It acquired its present appearance through reconstruction in 1898/1899; the church grounds include statues of Saint John of Nepomuk and Saint Joseph.

Culture

Trmice Castle is a one- to two-storey building with a crenellated tower, a balcony and a staircase in front. It is set in an extensive English landscape park and serves as a publicly accessible representative cultural centre.

The castle houses the Model Railway Museum, which features a permanent exhibition on the history and present of model railways. The museum includes functioning model railway layouts in N, TT and H0 gauges.

History

Another distinctive building is the Evangelical Church of the Lord Jesus in Trmice. It is a two-storey, plastered masonry building with an octagonal roof turret.

Trails

The Přemyslovské Stadice walking route begins in Trmice at Václavské náměstí by the Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary. It follows a red-marked hiking trail through the Bílina valley via Koštov to Stadice. The starting point at Václavské náměstí can be reached by MHD trolleybus 73 from the Divadlo stop.

Events

The Trmická desítka is a running competition; the 13th edition will take place on Saturday, 12 September 2026.
