Supíkovice: Hotels and accommodations
Accommodation in Supíkovice
Supíkovice developed into a leading center of marble quarrying and processing in the second half of the 19th century. Because of its marble industry, the town received the symbolic nickname “Silesian Carrara”.
History
The Vápenka, a registered technical monument dating from 1856, is part of the town’s industrial history. The oval stone shaft-kiln complex was used for lime burning. It is accessible via a local road and maintained by the municipality.
