Bobrovník is situated in an exposed location on the northern slope, which descends towards the valley of the Staříč River. In places, the settlement is hidden among treeless vegetation. The relatively dense development of farmsteads stretches along a road at the edge of the forest and is accompanied by treeless vegetation.
History
Bobrovník probably originated shortly before 1723 as a small logging settlement on the estate of the Bishop of Wrocław. Bobrovník was first mentioned in 1723.
Recreation Area and Camping
Today, Bobrovník is primarily a recreation area. Bobrovník Auto Camp is located in the valley of the Staříč River between the municipality of Lipová-lázně and the town of Jeseník, in the Bobrovník recreation area. It offers camping facilities for tents and caravans, as well as cabins.
Trails and Nature
The Jeseník–Bobrovník route is part of the Moravská stezka. In addition, the Jeseník–Šerák–Ramzová hiking route passes through the Bobrovník settlement to the summit of Šerák Mountain.
The Lípa na Bobrovníku linden tree grows near the Bobrovník settlement in Dolní Lipová.
