Nature
Sněženky Hornà Lipová is a 0.2271-hectare floodplain area in Hornà Lipová that has been temporarily protected since 2007. Thousands of specimens of the endangered snowdrop (Galanthus nivalis) have been recorded there. Obřà skály form an almost one-kilometre-long rock wall that is 10 to 16 metres high.
The mountain Smrk [Lipová-lázně], Mount Šerák and Mount Smrek are located in the vicinity of Hornà Lipová.
History and Culture
The Muzeum Slezského Semmeringu is located in the former signal box building of Hornà Lipová railway station. It presents railway signalling and safety technology, signalling equipment, historical regulations and contemporary photographs.
The Pramen cĂsaĹ™e Josefa II. in HornĂ Lipová commemorates Emperor Joseph II's visit on 1 September 1779; the spring dates from 1822.
Trails and Wildlife
The Naučná stezka Johanna Schrotha educational trail has ten stations.
Faunapark is located in Lipová. It is a private zoological garden open to visitors of all ages and interest groups. The animals include free-flying parrots as well as, among others, a tiger, lemurs, meerkats, macaques, iguanas, chameleons, kangaroos and ostriches.

Travná hora is located in the vicinity of Hornà Lipová. In the wider regional surroundings of Hornà Lipová are the Edelštejn ruins, Trzebieszowice Castle, Nový Hrad ruins and Otmuchów Castle - Zamek.
