Waterfalls and marked trails

Vysoký vodopád is the highest waterfall in the Jeseníky Mountains and drops 28 m. The approach from the “Vodopády” bus stop in Bělá pod Pradědem follows a blue-marked hiking trail and is approximately 3.6 km long. The bus stop is the starting point for the approach. For personal hiking planning, the route can therefore be considered to have an approximate length of 3.6 km, without presupposing a walking time.

The Rudohorské Waterfalls form a system of cascades with a total height of approximately 60 m over a length of about 120 m. The route to the waterfalls is intended for pedestrians and runs partly along a forest path and partly along cycle route 6207. Both the forest path and the section on cycle route 6207 should therefore be taken into account when preparing. The height and length figures refer to the cascade system.

A longer themed trail in the reserve

The educational hiking trail “S Koprníčkem na Keprník” is 14 km long, moderately difficult and includes twelve stations with information about the history and nature of the Šerák-Keprník Reserve. The stations cover the history and nature of the Šerák-Keprník Reserve. When planning personal time and energy requirements, the 14 km distance and the moderate difficulty rating should be considered together.

Via ferrata with short routes

The small Ferrata Kalafatičova plotna via ferrata park in Bělá pod Pradědem offers six short routes graded A to C, as well as two rope bridges. The two rope bridges are an additional feature of the park alongside the six short routes. When choosing a route, its short length and the respective difficulty rating can be considered together.

Wet spring meadows and protected species

The Filipovické louky nature reserve bears code 1527 and has regional ecological, scientific and aesthetic importance. It protects endangered plant and animal species that are dependent on wet spring meadows and their habitats. The wet spring meadows are the habitats on which these species depend. For those interested in natural history, the spring meadows and the species dependent on them are therefore the main focus.

Local history and memorial sites

The remains of a medieval fortification are located in the center of the Adolfovice district on the left bank of the Bělá, near road 44, behind the Jesan company premises and near the “Bělá pod Pradědem, Adolfovice – Mlýnky” bus stop. Road 44, the Jesan company premises and the bus stop supplement the location on the left bank with specific orientation points in the district.

The forest cemetery was established in the early 1960s as a memorial site honoring Russian prisoners of war who were buried in the surrounding forests. The surrounding forests are thus directly connected with the reason for establishing the memorial site.
