Church of San Bernardino da Siena
The Church of San Bernardino da Siena in Pelos has a Gothic octagonal nave and a star-shaped ceiling with prominent ribs. The oldest part of the church is the choir, which belongs to the original 15th-century building.
The Church of San Bernardino da Siena was almost completely rebuilt in 1947. In the process, it retained the architectural features of 15th-century mountain chapels. This building therefore clearly reflects the historical connection between the original construction phase, the reconstruction and characteristic forms of mountain chapels.
