Parc Jean-Claude Paturel is designated as an LPO wildlife refuge and offers more than 13 hectares of nature within the town. It can be reached via cycle paths and footpaths. Marais de Montfort is one of the last peat bogs in the Isère Valley. A dedicated educational trail leads through this landscape to the three highly protected butterfly species Cuivré des marais, Fadet des laiches, and Azurée de la sanguisorbe.

The Sentier du Pal de Fer and the Sentier du facteur provide access on foot in around two hours to the Plateau des Petites Roches, the gateway to the Chartreuse Regional Nature Park, at an altitude of almost 900 meters.
