Les Angles is a holiday resort and ski resort in the heart of the Catalan Pyrenees Regional Nature Park. The ski area is located at an altitude of 1,600 to 2,400 metres, offers 55 kilometres of pistes and has a vertical drop of 800 metres. The ski area's snow park is primarily geared towards freestyle.

Cable Car and Hiking Trails
The Les Pèlerins cable car takes passengers from the village of Les Angles to the Plateau de Bigorre at an altitude of 2,100 metres. The Plateau de Bigorre is the starting point for numerous hikes and is accessible to everyone. Lou Bac Mountain can also be reached via the Les Pèlerins cable car.
Nature and Landscape
The hike through the Forêt de la Matte is very easy, approximately 6 kilometres long and takes around two hours. It passes through a forest of Scots pine and regularly follows the shores of Lac de Matemale.
The themed trail “À la découverte de l’antre des mystères” leads to a hidden wetland in the forest of Les Angles and includes explanatory panels.
Culture and History
The Église Saint-Michel preserves Romanesque stonework. Its apse, Lombard frieze of arcades, dentil friezes and façade are still visible. The Porte-Tour des Angles is the most important surviving remnant of the medieval castle from which the present-day village developed.
Other Activities
The Les Angles Bike Park comprises nine downhill trails with five difficulty or experience levels. It offers 500 metres of vertical drop and 30 kilometres of trails for all ability levels. A green beginner trail runs through the undergrowth and features bridges and picnic areas.
Lou Bac Mountain is a monorail alpine coaster with a 2,000-metre descent, 430 metres of vertical drop and a maximum speed of 42 km/h. Its track winds through the forest; the descents reach an incline of up to 70 per cent.
The Club Nautique L’Ourson organises weekly sailing courses for Optimists, catamarans and windsurfing. The club also offers pedal boating, canoeing, stand-up paddleboarding, kayaking, windsurfing, catamaran sailing, as well as sailing in 420 and Caravelle dinghies.
The balneotherapy and wellness areas include whirlpool baths, saunas and a hammam.
