Lac de La Tour d'Auvergne was created in 1969 as an artificial body of water in a natural setting at an altitude of 940 metres. The Tour du lac de La Tour d'Auvergne, which is just over one kilometre long, runs around the lake. The path offers views of Natzy Hill with its statue, as well as the village of La Tour d'Auvergne, perched on a promontory.

Nature
An orienteering course, opened in 2014 and recognised by the Ligue d'Auvergne, starts at the Plan d'Eau in La Tour-d'Auvergne. Lac de La Tour d'Auvergne offers supervised swimming throughout the summer. Trout and carp can also be caught there. The Espace Sport Nature de la Stèle is located on the western slope of Puy de Sancy, within the municipality of La Tour-d'Auvergne.
Culture
The Notre Dame de Natzy Chapel was built on Natzy Hill, north of the village of La Tour-d'Auvergne, following a healing considered miraculous, and was completed in 1870.
The Église de Saint-Pardoux is classified as a historic monument and is known as the “little cathedral of the fields”. It consists of a Romanesque base, a portal and a nave from the 12th century, as well as a Gothic structure from the 13th century. Guided tours of the church are offered during the school holidays.
The booklet “Le tour de La Tour vaut le détour” offers narrated village tours lasting 30 and 50 minutes.
Local Life
A food and craft market is held every Saturday morning on the Place de la mairie in La Tour-d'Auvergne.
