Culture
The parish church of Saint-Julien, dating from the 15th century, has a Latin cross floor plan and was remodeled in the last quarter of the 19th century, that is, at the end of the 19th century, by the architect Jules Painchaux in the Southern Gothic style as used in Livradois. It has been protected as a historic monument since November 26, 1990.
The Gare de l’Utopie in Vertolaye is a comic-book library, toy library, and cultural third place belonging to the intermunicipal network. It offers a diverse cultural program open to everyone. The Gare de l’Utopie includes the café Comme chez vous; a game night is held there once a month on a Friday evening.
