The Metodka educational trail is 3.5 km long and includes 15 stations. It is suitable for hikers, cyclists and families with pushchairs. Along the way, visitors learn about local partisan activities during the Second World War. A yellow-marked hiking trail also leads from the educational trail to the summit of Metodka.
Nature
The summit of Metodka is located at an altitude of 788 metres. In good weather, the Orlické Mountains, Králický Sněžník and Praděd can be seen from there.
In Jimramovské Pavlovice, part of the municipality of Věcov, lies the Modráskova educational trail. It is 1.5 km long and takes about an hour. Information panels focus on the rare scarce large blue butterfly, as well as the trees and birds of the region. The route follows a paved farm track suitable for pushchairs.
History and Culture
A memorial stone set into the masonry commemorates the murder of Václav Rychnovský in 1621 at the Rychtě in Věcov.
The old Korábský mlýn mill in Věcov now serves as a farm for keeping horses and bees. Its first documented mention dates back to 1583; it was last in operation shortly after the Second World War.
