Routes
The blue-marked tourist route runs through Nýrov along the Letovice – Nýrov – Rudka – Kunštát – Sychotín – Touboř – Kunice – Bedřichov route and onwards. The green-marked route leads from Kunštát via Nýrov, Jasinov, Vranová and Křetín and onwards. Cycle routes 5142 and 5144 also intersect in Nýrov.
Landscape
The partisan dugout is located in the forest below Hradisko and can be reached via a turn-off from the marked hiking trail. Hradisko is a promontory located approximately 1.5 km southeast of Nýrov, above the valley of the Nýrovský potok. The partially deforested hill offers views of Sebranice and the Svitava valley.
Memorial Sites
A memorial plaque on a school building in Nýrov commemorates Antonín Pěta, who was executed by the German occupiers on 22 February 1945 for his participation in the anti-fascist resistance.
A memorial plaque dedicated to the victims of the Second World War is located in the forest inside the dugout, 2 km from the bus stop; it can be reached via the green-marked tourist route. During the renovation of the partisan dugout in Nýrov, a bench and a new information board were added, among other things, in 2021. A monument to the victims of the First and Second World Wars stands on the village green near the municipal office. The monument near the dugout close to Nýrov commemorates six fallen soldiers.
Local Events
The Nýrovský Slivkošt competition includes the categories plum brandy 2025, other spirits 2025, as well as archived plum brandies and other archived spirits. The Nýrovský Slivkošt welcomes both competition participants and guests interested in slivovitz.
Culture and History
A small bell tower in Nýrov has been renovated. Near Újezd, a castle complex from the 13th century is considered probably unfinished.
