Křetín: Hotels and accommodations

Křetín Castle is a Natura 2000 site of European importance. The area is home to one of the five most important summer colonies of the lesser horseshoe bat (Rhinolophus hipposideros) in the Czech Republic.

Culture and history

The Church of Saint Jerome in Křetín is a Baroque building constructed between 1708 and 1714. It is also registered as a protected cultural monument under ÚSKP number 19019/7-477.

In the wider regional surroundings of Křetín are the Monument to the Victims of the First and Second World Wars, the Chapel of the Virgin Mary, the Chapel of the Sacred Heart, the Chapel of Our Lady of Lourdes, Kočíko Mountain, and Drašarov Mountain.

The Museum modelové železnice in Křetín features a TT model railway layout designed as a railway line set in a lively landscape. The Vodní nádrž Letovice reservoir, commonly called Křetínka, is used for recreation.
