Culture and History

On the southwestern outskirts of Crhov, near the Crhovský potok stream, stands the former watermill. It is a two-storey wooden building; a remnant of the millrace and a mill wheel have been preserved on its southwestern side.

The Crhov fortification site is located in the southwestern part of the village. The fortification of Crhov was mentioned in 1487.

The chapel of Crhov was built in 1801. Its square floor plan measures 2.8 × 2.8 metres; in 2002, it was dedicated to Saints Cyril and Methodius.

A medieval stone with an engraved double cross was moved in 2002 from the road to Olešnice to the foundations of the Chapel of Crhov.

The Crhov cross, erected in 1848, was installed to commemorate the abolition of forced labour and is now a cultural monument.

Nature

Crhov lies near the eastern edge of the Svratecká hornatina Nature Park.
