Rozsíčka: Village Structure, Cultural Heritage and Paths through the Landscape
Rozsíčka is an oval-shaped village on the road from Olešnice via Sulíkov and Rudka to Kunštát. At the same time, the village lies in the valley of the Rozsíčský potok. This combination of a clearly recognizable settlement pattern and valley setting provides a distinct framework for finding your way around the area.
Villagescape and Cultural Features
A prominent feature of the village center is the bell tower of Rozsíčka. It is a cultural monument with a square ground plan and a helmet roof dating from the late 18th century. As a defining spatial element of the village square, the tower influences the perception of the village center: Its form, roof design and position on the square are an integral part of Rozsíčka’s architectural character.
The Rozsíčka Château is also part of the built heritage. It was constructed in 1828 and has survived to this day in its basic form as an Empire-style building. The château is six bays wide and single-storey; a two-bay avant-corps projects from the southeastern entrance façade. For visitors interested in culture, the building thus offers several specific points of interest, from its year of construction to its clearly articulated design.
Rozsíčka Château is privately owned. This status does not guarantee access to the interiors or any particular opportunity for a visit.
Other elements of the villagescape include preserved and well-maintained examples of vernacular architecture, including log buildings. There is also a chapel in a prominent location.
Landscape between the Valley and the Nature Park
The Crhov–Rozsíčka Site of Community Importance lies in a stream valley between Rozsíčka and Crhov. The Halasovo Kunštátsko Nature Park includes the cadastral area of Rozsíčka or parts of its cadastral area.
West of Rozsíčka rises Kamperk (640 m). Together with the valley of the Rozsíčský potok, it creates a landscape that combines different views and elevations.
Hiking, Cycling and Time with Children
Rozsíčka offers local cycling routes and marked hiking trails for active day trips. These two options appeal to different ways of exploring: Cyclists can include the village in their tour planning, while hikers can use the marked trails as the basis for their outings.
At the upper end of Rozsíčka, there is a recreational area and a playground.
Choose Accommodation According to Your Interests

The village may be of interest to you if you would like to consider architectural details such as the bell tower, château, log buildings and chapel alongside the nature park, stream valley, hiking trails or cycling routes. The key question is therefore less one of a blanket promise and more whether the character of a small village shaped by culture and landscape suits your planned stay.
