Nature
The municipality of Malá Morava lies at the transition between Moravia and Bohemia, between the Hrubý Les, Králický Sněžník, and Hanušovická vrchovina mountain ranges. From Malá Morava, a climb leads north over a mountain ridge to Králický Sněžník and takes about four hours.
Culture
The Chapel of the Holy Trinity in Vysoká is registered as an immovable cultural monument and houses a museum about Franz Schubert and his family. In 1782, Carl Schubert initiated the construction of the chapel and made a financial contribution toward it.
The present parish church of the Assumption of the Virgin Mary in Malá Morava was built in 1689. A stone tombstone from 1629 is set into its wall. The Baroque Church of the Nativity of the Virgin Mary in Vojtíškov dates from 1807.
In Podlesí, the Church of Saint Mary Magdalene was built in 1683 on the site of a former wooden Protestant house of prayer. The Baroque church is one of the protected monuments in Malá Morava. A late Baroque plague column with a statue of the Virgin Mary from 1736 is also one of the protected monuments in Podlesí.
A glassworks is mentioned in Sklené as early as 1437. The Malomoravské slavnosti were announced for Saturday, August 8, 2026, at the football field in Podlesí.
Getting around locally
Near the turnoff to Vojtíškov is the 333rd kilometer of the Morava River; there is a rest area there for passers-by and visitors to the municipality.
