Nature and Townscape
The Zlatý Potok stream flows through the settlement and empties into the nearby Morava. The historic German name Goldenfluss was derived from its location on a stream that flows into the Morava.
History
Zlatý Potok was probably founded in the second half of the 16th century and belonged to the Rudá estate. Following the post-war changes resulting from the expulsion of the Germans and resettlement, Zlatý Potok developed into a locality dedicated exclusively to recreation.
Routes
The M 91 hiking trail connects the Jeřáb Massif and Suchý vrch through the Březná valley. On both sides, it can be used for half its length as an access route; return options are available via Králíky or Štíty. In addition, a cycling tour listed in Kolovna's route list passes through Zlatý Potok.
