Culture and local history
The wooden Church of the Virgin Mary on Gruň dates from 1887 and has a rectangular floor plan with a pentagonal presbytery. It has been protected as a cultural monument since October 8, 2002; pilgrimages take place there around the Feast of Mary, Help of Christians in May. Visits can be arranged in advance at the nearby House of St. Joseph.
The foundation stone of the stone Church of St. Henry in Staré Hamry was laid on July 12, 1863; the church was completed two years later.
The monument to Maryčka Magdónová is a cultural and historical monument commemorating Petr Bezruč and his Silesian Songs.
