Nižní Lhoty is shaped by the Morávka: the river runs along the entire municipality. The section in Nižní Lhoty is designated as the Skalická Morávka National Nature Monument. It serves to preserve a natural, branched section of the Morávka in gravel deposits, with characteristic communities and natural woodland.

Sports and Events
The Víceúčelové sportovní hřiště includes a children's playground with a playhouse, slide, climbing wall, spring riders and an asphalt oval for rollerblading or riding scooters. The multi-purpose sports field is used for various sports, including nohejbal, volleyball and rollerblading, as well as hockey and ice skating in winter. Cultural events are also held there throughout the year.
Culture and Local Products
The fire station was built in 1931 using donations from local residents. A route passes the Roman Catholic Chapel of the Visitation of the Virgin Mary, which was built in 1946. Nošovice sauerkraut is also produced in Nižní Lhoty and bears a protected designation of origin.
