Nature
The Plenisko Nature Reserve protects natural, primeval-forest-like woodland containing native firs, beech trees, spruce and sycamore maple. It lies on the southern slope of the Silesian Beskids below the Kyčera summit and includes numerous waterlogged areas as well as the headwaters of the Bystrý stream.
The Olše European Protected Area also includes the cadastral area of Písek u Jablunkova. The Olše European Protected Area contains mixed ash-alder floodplain forests of the temperate and boreal regions of Europe.

A new, architecturally interesting church was established in Písek u Jablunkova in 2009; the building was completed a year later, in 2010. In Písek, a pilgrimage celebration in honour of Divine Mercy takes place on the first Sunday after Easter. The Golgota Beskidów Cross monument is located in the wider regional area around Písek u Jablunkova.
