Landscape
Most of the cottages and farm buildings in Osečnice are scattered across a south-facing slope. A stream flows through the centre of Osečnice.
Culture and History
The Chapel of St John of Nepomuk in Osečnice was built in 1835. Historical secondary occupations in Osečnice included, in particular, weaving, net-making, Necování, embroidery on net fabric, woodworking, foundry work and Haluzačení.
The Calvary complex in Osečnice was built in 1876, is characterised by Neo-Gothic and Historicist features, and was added to the list of cultural monuments in 1958. The rural house with registration number ev. č. 17 is a predominantly wooden cottage with a simple gable, a pitched roof and a gallery, an example of the local folk architecture of the 19th century and a protected cultural monument.
The “Osečnický sud” volleyball tournament is scheduled to take place in Osečnice in July.

In the vicinity of Osečnice, at the Mýto viewing pavilion, 1.2 km along the road towards Lomy, there is a crossroads of hiking trails. Cycle route 4243 runs through Osečnice between Mýto, Proloh and Skuhrov nad Bělou.
