How snowmaking supports a piste
Snowmaking uses water and cold air to produce snow when conditions allow. It can support base coverage and continuity on selected runs, but it does not remove the effects of warm weather, wind, limited water or closed lifts. Check the resort’s current information before travel.
Piste preparation and the ski day
Grooming, overnight temperatures and traffic affect the surface during the day.
