Davos has a long-established winter sports profile and one of the largest ski areas in Switzerland.

Since 1971, Davos has hosted the World Economic Forum. Every December, the international Spengler Cup ice hockey tournament also takes place there.
Nature and Geography
The Davos area encompasses most of the Landwasser Valley, including the section around Lake Davos and the side valleys of Flüela and Dischma. Salezer Horn, Gross Schiahorn, Schafläger, and Totalphorn are located near Davos.
The main orientation axis of the Davos Valley is defined by the river, the main road, and the railway line, running from northeast to southwest.

Davos is home to the eau-là-là wellness and leisure pool for water-based recreation and health-oriented relaxation. The Wagerhus–Berghaus Vereina Trail begins in Davos and is 10.1 kilometers long.
