Geographical Location

Wolfgang is a 1,631-meter-high pass between Klosters and Davos. The Wolfgang Pass was formerly called Stütz.

The Via Valtellina reaches the Davos Wolfgang Pass at an elevation of 1,632 meters. From the Wolfgang Pass, it initially follows the tracks of the Rhaetian Railway and then the shore of Lake Davos to Davos Dorf; its route follows the traces of the muleteers.

Orientation

Wolfgang is the starting point for numerous hikes. From here, hiking trails lead directly to Lake Davos and into the surrounding forests.

The Höhwald hike begins at the Wolfgang Pass near Hotel Kessler's Kulm. It passes through wooded sections to Höhwald above Lake Davos, follows the forested side of Lake Davos to the Lido, and ends at Davos Dorf railway station, about one kilometer from Stilli. The Höhwald hike reaches Davos Adventure Park, which is associated with Restaurant Chalet Velo.

Lake Davos offers a public beach, sailing, stand-up paddleboarding, and wakeboarding. Sailing on Lake Davos includes taster courses, lessons, and boat rental.
