Church and Palace in Dosoledo
In Dosoledo stands the Chiesa dei SS. Rocco e Osvaldo, a Neoclassical church designed by Colusso and later by Giuseppe Segusini. Its furnishings include valuable frescoes and altars. Also in Dosoledo is Palazzo Zandonella - Dall'Aquila, which houses the Museo Algudnei. Palazzo Zandonella - Dall'Aquila is a 17th-century palace associated with a wealthy family involved in the timber trade.

Themed Trails between Villages and Valley History
There are four themed trails in Comèlico Superiore: Tròi dli mascri, Tròi dli Tradizion, Tròi di bacani and Tròi di mistieri. Wooden statues stand along the trails. The Tròi di mestieri runs between Padola and Dosoledo. The sculptures along the Tròi di mestieri depict the occupations that shaped the valley. Stage 4, “da S. Pietro a Padola”, of the Sentiero Frassati also passes through Dosoledo and then reaches Padola. The stage connects S. Pietro, Dosoledo and Padola in a continuous route.
From Comèlico Superiore, you can reach places including Valgrande, Alta Val Padola, Lago di Sant’Anna and trails leading to the Popèra. A mountain bike route begins at La Stua on the Torrente Padola at an elevation of 1,215 metres. La Stua on the Torrente Padola is an artificial dam that enabled timber to be transported by rafting.

The Val Comelico Ski Area is part of Dolomiti Superski, a ski consortium with 115 kilometres of ski slopes and 31 lifts. The ski slopes of Padola reach an altitude of 2,000 metres at Col d’la Tenda and are part of the “UNESCO Dolomites Nature Park” route.
