Lake, mountain and local history
Lago di Alleghe was formed in 1771 after a landslide dammed the watercourse. Monte Civetta rises 3,220 metres above Alleghe and, together with the lake, forms a closely connected landscape. Lago Coldai is a lake of glacial origin. The lake provides a link to the area's geological history, while Monte Civetta defines the mountainous setting above Alleghe.

The Civetta Adventure Park in the forest of Piani di Pezzè offers four courses with different difficulty levels. The courses pass over wooden walkways, tree trunks, Tibetan bridges and vines.
