Lago di Terlago and the lakeside path

Lago di Terlago is a shallow karst lake at an altitude of 416 metres. A karst lake is a type of body of water in which soluble rocks and underground waterways may play a role. A path accessible to everyone runs all the way around Lago di Terlago. If you would like to explore the lake on foot, the path takes you around the body of water once.

At Lago di Terlago, pike, trout, carp, tench and chub are considered fish species that attract anglers to the lake. Fishing is therefore one of the specific activities associated with Lago di Terlago.

Anello Vezzano - Terlago for bicycles

Depending on the option chosen, the Anello Vezzano - Terlago loop is 12.8 or 15.4 km long. The Anello Vezzano - Terlago is designed for bicycles and runs almost entirely on paved roads; only one flat section is unpaved. The two options give you a shorter and a longer distance to choose from when planning your route. Asphalt predominates as the surface, supplemented by a flat section without a paved surface.

On the Anello Vezzano - Terlago, the route heads towards Terlago and passes directly by the small church of San Pantaleone. The Church of San Pantaleone in Terlago contains frescoes by Verla dating from 1518.

The frescoes depict the lives of San Pantaleone and San Sebastiano, as well as other biblical episodes. Frescoes are wall paintings traditionally executed on fresh plaster.

Castello di Terlago and Torre di Braidone

Castello di Terlago was built as a fortress to control a narrow section of the valley. The first towers of Castello di Terlago can be dated approximately to the 12th century. The fortress history and the approximate dating of the towers are therefore among the older historical traces in Terlago.

Torre di Braidone in Terlago preserves a recognisable façade. The façade reveals the construction technique of a residential and defensive building dating from the 12th to the 13th century. A residential and defensive building combines the functions of living and defence.

Pietra della Regola in the town centre

Pietra della Regola is a stone table at the intersection of Via Defant and Via Roma in Terlago. People once gathered at Pietra della Regola to discuss communal matters. The site thus represents a historical form of community deliberation, while its location at the intersection firmly anchors it in the townscape.

Bus route B206

Bus route B206 connects Trento, Cadine, Sopramonte, Terlago and Monte Terlago. These five places are therefore part of a shared bus connection linking Terlago with Trento, Cadine, Sopramonte and Monte Terlago.
