Landscape around Lago di Andalo
Part of the municipality of Andalo lies within Parco Naturale Adamello Brenta. The nature park therefore provides an important geographical reference point for finding your way around Andalo. This designation expressly applies to part of the municipal area and does not describe every individual location in the town.

Lago di Andalo is a shallow karst lake whose surface changes depending on the season and the amount of precipitation. In spring, Lago di Andalo reaches its highest water level due to the melting snow. Some of the water from Lago di Andalo flows via the Rio Lambin towards Lago di Molveno. The water level and outflow make the lake’s seasonal changes immediately visible.
The path around Lago di Andalo is approximately 2.6 kilometres long, flat and mostly paved. The path is suitable for pushchairs. Anyone looking for a short walk with a manageable distance will therefore find Lago di Andalo a clearly described opportunity to explore the landscape along the lake.
From Andalo to Paganella
For orientation during a skiing holiday in Andalo, the route to Cima Paganella is particularly relevant. From Andalo, Cima Paganella can be reached via the Andalo-Doss Pelà gondola, a 500-metre footpath and then the Albi de Mez-Cima Paganella chairlift. The sequence therefore comprises a mountain lift, a footpath and a chairlift, and can be specifically taken into account when planning routes to Paganella.
From the summit of Paganella, the entrance to the Ferrata delle Aquile can be reached in approximately 45 minutes via the first section of the Sentiero delle Aquile, also known as path F10 ex 602. In alpine terminology, the designation Ferrata refers to a via ferrata. For route orientation, it remains important that the stated time refers to access to the entrance via the first section of the path.
Church and Archaeology in Andalo
At Doss in Andalo, archaeologists uncovered the remains of an ancient church dating from the 15th to the 16th century. Several burials were found near the ancient church at Doss, which are regarded as evidence of what was probably Andalo’s first cemetery. Doss therefore represents a place where ecclesiastical and archaeological traces are directly connected with Andalo.
In the centre of Andalo, the Chiesa dei Santi Vito, Modesto e Crescenzia Martiri was built from 1782 onwards. The church was completed and blessed in 1783. Maso Pegorar has a different geographical setting: Maso Pegorar remains visibly separated from the rest of Andalo in a panoramic location.
Visiting at Different Times of the Year
Andalo Life Park offers experiences indoors and outdoors. Visits to the Mostra miniature are scheduled for summer and winter. In spring and autumn, visits to the Mostra miniature are available for groups by reservation. The seasonal information helps you schedule a visit to fit your own travel plans without equating the park’s individual offerings with those of the exhibition.
