Skiing, snowboarding and the Sellaronda

From Canazei, the Belvedere–Col Rodella ski area can be reached for skiing and snowboarding. From Canazei, the Sellaronda is accessible via Col dei Rossi. With a Dolomiti Superski ski pass, the Sellaronda ski tour can be completed in approximately five to six hours. For your daily planning, this approximate duration is a separate time block. The 3-Tre ski run leads for over 3,300 metres from Col Rodella to Pian de Frataces (Lupo Bianco). Its length provides a specific reference point when choosing a single descent. Sellaronda and 3-Tre differ in form: one is a multi-hour ski tour, while the other is a ski run with a defined length. For the circuit, you should plan the ski pass, access via Col dei Rossi and the approximate duration together.

Summer activities and views from Ciampac

From Alba di Canazei, a cable car leads to Ciampac, a natural viewpoint with views of the Marmolada, the Sella and the Pordoi. Canazei Fun Park has a tubing run approximately 50 metres long, as well as a 400-metre slalom-kart track for grass karts. With Acqua Splash, the park also offers bumper boats on the water in inflatable boats. The different rides and track lengths provide specific guidance for choosing activities in the Fun Park.

Cycling and mountain landscapes in summer

The Fassa Bike District offers a network of flow trails, enduro singletracks and downhill tracks in the heart of the Dolomites. In summer, you can distinguish between trekking in high-altitude mountain regions and the three types of cycling trails in the Fassa Bike District. Col Rodella is a mountain in the vicinity of Canazei. The peaks of Sasso Becce, Sass de Moles and Monte Forca are also located nearby.

The Sacred Heart Church in Gries was completed in 1942. The Madonna della Neve Church in Gries, Canazei, was built in 1570 and has a distinctive Baroque onion dome. Canazei’s annual cultural calendar includes events such as “Te anter i tobié” and the “Gran Festa da d’Istà”, as well as the Ladin Carnival in the districts. Those interested in culture can distinguish between a church built in 1570 with an onion dome and a church completed in 1942 in Gries. The cultural calendar combines the two event titles with the Ladin Carnival in the districts.
