Aßlar: Hotels and Accommodations

Werdorf Castle is located in Werdorf, a district of Aßlar in the Lahn-Dill district. The Baroque palace was built between 1686 and 1690 and is designated as a cultural monument for historical, artistic, urban-planning and scientific reasons. Since 1981, it has housed a local history museum.

History

Aßlar was granted city rights on November 16, 1978. Its present municipal form developed through the incorporation of Bechlingen, Berghausen, Bermoll and Oberlemp in 1971, followed by Werdorf in 1977.
