Brannenburg is a municipality in the Upper Bavarian district of Rosenheim, in the Inn Valley at the northern edge of the Alps, at an elevation of approximately 509 meters above sea level. The Wendelstein rack railway runs from Brannenburg up to Mount Wendelstein.
