Hauzenberg is a town in the Lower Bavarian district of Passau and a state-recognized climatic spa resort. The town is located in the Danube-Forest region of the southern Bavarian Forest, in a wide valley basin surrounded by steep, densely forested slopes.

At 947 meters, the Oberfrauenwald is the highest point in Hauzenberg. A viewing tower offers extensive views across the southern Bavarian Forest and towards Austria.
