The Espace nordique du Barioz has 52 kilometers of trails for skating and classic cross-country skiing. In addition, there are 8 kilometers of marked snowshoe trails and an alpine ski area with a free rope tow for beginners.

The Domaine nordique de Beldina also has marked and secured snowshoe trails. The area also includes cross-country ski trails for classic skiing and skating, walking paths, and sledding runs for young children.

Nature
On the Bel’Vélec route from Theys, you reach the protected area Marais des Bruns after 5.9 kilometers. Marais des Bruns is designated as a sensitive natural area (ENS) and is home to more than 400 plant and animal species, including around ten species requiring special protection.
The hike “Theys – Entre Hameaux – Prairies et Forêts” offers views of the Belledonne peaks and the valley. At the same time, it passes protected dry grassland flora with numerous orchids.
Culture
The Point Patrimoine des Écomusée is located in the heart of Theys, in an outbuilding of the Château Jail. The Écomusée exhibitions include tools and materials associated with local handicraft and agricultural activities.
The building of the Châtel de Theys is closed to the public for safety reasons. In the Châtel de Theys, 52 historicized quatrefoil panels tell of Perceval’s childhood and his introduction to knighthood.
La Meïou is Theys’s annual village festival, held on August 15, and includes, among other things, a float parade in the afternoon.
