At 2,361 m, the Croix de Cassini offers a 360-degree panorama of the surrounding peaks and mountain ranges. The hike from the Col de Sarenne to the Croix de Cassini covers 4.6 km there and back, takes 2 hours and 15 minutes, has an elevation gain of 421 m, and includes some exposed sections. La Croix de Cassini is also connected with the mapping of this part of the Massif des Écrins by the geographer Cassini in the 17th century.

The La Courbe hike explores the La Courbe site on the sunny slope of the Massif des Grandes Rousses. The route runs below the Bec de l’Aigle, where hikers may be able to see chamois.

The Site d'escalade de Saint-Arey is located at an altitude of 987 m in the hamlet of La Grange, below the Église Saint-Arey. It has 21 south- or southeast-facing climbing routes ranging from 15 to 25 metres in height and graded from 3 B to 7 B, as well as a Via corda that is largely suitable for beginners and family climbing.
