The hike from the Col de Sarenne to the Croix de Cassini covers 4.6 km there and back, takes 2 hours and 15 minutes, has an elevation gain of 421 m, and includes some exposed sections. La Croix de Cassini is also connected with the mapping of this part of the Massif des Écrins by the geographer Cassini in the 17th century.

The La Courbe hike explores the La Courbe site on the sunny slope of the Massif des Grandes Rousses. The route runs below the Bec de l’Aigle, where hikers may be able to see chamois.
