The Montagnes de Lans ski area offers two marked uphill routes for ski touring outside the groomed pistes. The ski area is located four kilometres from the village and can be reached by free shuttle buses or car.

Le Canyon alternates between forest and open landscapes, runs alongside the cross-country ski trails and passes through the Les Allières site. ViaVercors is accessible to everyone year-round and presents no sporting difficulties. The Grotte des Eymards offers a complete caving experience with abseiling and rope climbing.
Nature and Landscape
The Espace naturel sensible des falaises du Moucherotte au pic Saint-Michel also includes the municipality of Lans-en-Vercors. Pic Saint-Michel is 1,966 metres high and overlooks the Grenoble valley. The Bourne rises in a meadow at an altitude of 1,000 metres.
Culture
Le chemin du patrimoine is a marked, 5.5-kilometre hiking trail with nine educational information panels about the history of the municipality. It runs between the village and the hamlets of Lans-en-Vercors and partly follows a scenic balcony above the Val de Lans; it is accessible by public transport.
Le Cairn includes an event hall, a media library, a cinema, exhibition spaces, a dojo, and rooms for dance, music and meetings.
Cuisine
The Lans-en-Vercors market takes place on Tuesdays and Saturdays from 8 a.m. to 1 p.m. in the town hall square. Bleu du Vercors, mountain honey, fruit, vegetables and fresh produce are available there.
The Ferme du Pic Saint Michel offers visits to its goat, sheep and laying-hen facilities, as well as direct sales of goat's and sheep's cheese.
