Winter and Trails
The LUGE COASTER is located in Le Recoin in Chamrousse 1650. It is a monorail sled ride approximately one kilometre long.
Chamrousse's Hike Park comprises around twenty hiking routes.
Nature
The Lacs Robert consist of four lakes at an altitude of 1,998 metres and cover approximately 28 hectares at the bottom of a natural cirque. They are part of the Natura 2000 network and are designated as a classified and registered site.
In summer, Lac Achard is easily accessible via a hike from Chamrousse 1750 (Roche-Béranger). It is part of the Espace Naturel Sensible (ENS) “Plateau de l'Arselle et lac Achard” and is also located in a Natura 2000 zone.
Culture
The Église Saint-Esprit in Chamrousse is a building constructed in 1967 by the architect Pierre Jomain and recognised as a work of 20th-century contemporary cultural heritage in Rhône-Alpes.
The Maison du Patrimoine et de l'Environnement presents Chamrousse's environment in exhibitions. An educational trail beside the Maison du Patrimoine et de l'Environnement and the large natural areas of Belledonne introduces the aspects typical of Chamrousse relating to pastoral farming, wildlife and flora, beekeeping, and sustainable development.
