Culture
The bell tower of the Saint-Chaffrey parish church was classified as a historic monument by decree on 11 December 1990. The Saint-Chaffrey church was built in 1536; its nave was rebuilt after a fire in the 17th century.
For centuries, the Filature Longo Mai in Chantemerle has processed sheep's wool into clothing, sheets and blankets. It also offers factory tours with demonstrations of sheep's wool processing.
The Mine des Éduits was an important coal-mining site in the 19th and 20th centuries. Its historic complex includes the engineer's house, the forge, the transport route and the aerial conveyor.
The Saint-Arnould Chapel is known for its 15th-century murals depicting the martyrdom of Saint Sebastian and is considered one of the oldest religious buildings in the Briançonnais. A guided tour of the frescoed chapels in the Val de Guisane also includes the Saint-Arnould Chapel in Saint-Chaffrey. It is currently not possible to visit the chapel's interior; guided tours by the Serre Chevalier Vallée Briançon Tourist Office offer an exclusively digital experience.

The Col du Granon is part of the Natura 2000 network.
The rock face of the Via Ferrata du Rocher Blanc is geologically composed of limestone and pink sandstone; its summit offers a remarkable panorama.
Trails
The very easy circular trail to the village and the Plateau des Brochets starts in front of Saint-Chaffrey Town Hall. This walk leads up to the plateau; from there, the route description mentions a magnificent view.
Leisure
The Baignade Bio in Colombiers Park in Saint-Chaffrey is an environmentally friendly bathing facility. The facility includes lawns, wooden play equipment, a picnic area, table tennis tables and a beach volleyball court.
