Le petit tour des Puys begins at the town hall of Puy-Saint-André. The 50-minute walk covers 150 metres of elevation gain; no difficulty rating is given. The regional nature reserve Réserve Naturelle des Partias is located in the immediate vicinity of Puy-Saint-André.

Also starting in Puy-Saint-André, Le ravin des Merles is a 7-kilometre circular hiking route. It follows historic paths that rise over the heights of Puy-Chalvin before descending towards Pierre Feu. Along the way, there are chapels, frescoes, canals, terraces and walls to discover.

Culture

The Chapelle Sainte-Lucie dates from the 16th century and has frescoes depicting the Lamentation on its exterior façade. Frescoes on the interior vault depict the life of Jesus in 23 scenes.

The Eglise Saint-André is a church built in the 15th century in the Romanesque-Lombard style. Its nave comprises four bays and ends in a polygonal chancel.

The Cadran Zarbula de Puy-Saint-André is located on the façade of the former presbytery, which is now called La Kimpina.

Geology

The Maison de la Géologie et du Géoparc in Puy-Saint-André is dedicated to scientific tourism. It features an outdoor geodrome that traces the geological history of the Alps along a path, as well as an indoor museum with numerous interactive educational offerings. It also offers a planetarium providing an introduction to astronomy.
