Winter offer

The Puy-Saint-Vincent bike park extends across almost 900 metres of elevation and comprises eight trails. They are served by two detachable six-seater chairlifts for mountain bikes. Le Panoramic features a synthetic ice rink as well as a bouldering wall.

Trails

The Sentier du Patrimoine in Puy-Saint-Vincent is a very easy 5.3-kilometre circular trail that takes 1 hour and 30 minutes. It is signposted between Les Prés and Saint-Romain and features information panels on the area’s cultural heritage. The Sentier des Trolls at Station 1400 is free to access and suitable for people with reduced mobility.

The Narreyroux circular trail no. 13 starts in Les Prés at the Station 1400 roundabout and leads towards Le Villaret. Narreyroux can be reached from the Station 1600 car park in less than an hour via an almost level path through the forest.

Landscape

Puy-Saint-Vincent is situated on a north-facing plateau at an altitude of around 1,400 metres. The rural landscape forms a mosaic of hamlets, cultivated terraces, meadows, irrigation channels and wooded pastures. Puy-Saint-Vincent also encompasses diverse habitats such as deciduous and coniferous forests, heathland, grassland, scree slopes and rock faces.

The Plateau de Tournoux is considered a preserved natural and landscape heritage site within Puy-Saint-Vincent. The Tête d'Amont summit is located nearby. The surrounding area includes the summits of Pointe de l'Eyglière, Pointe du Rascrouset and Cime de la Condamine, as well as Écrins National Park.

Culture

The Chapelle Saint-Vincent is classified as a French historic monument and has largely preserved and restored wall paintings. Its painted interior dates back to the mid-15th century. The Église Sainte-Marie-Madeleine des Prés is known for its sundials.

The Chapelle Saint-Romain was the village’s first church and was built at the beginning of the 11th century. The 12th-century chapel was converted into a museum of old tools; an orientation board is located on the esplanade below the chapel.

Narreyroux is a former hamlet with alpine pasture farming. It is home to a hut that the shepherd used at the beginning and end of the summer grazing season.
